Was Spa worth all the effort???????????

Most certainly YES

We had a fantastic time and the whole trip was a great experience 8)

Here are a few photos....I didn't get a huge amount due to my battery running out :roll:

On our way to the ferry port we ran into Will (Toastiemaker), who is on a trip around Europe 8)

And leaving Dover on the ferry after quite a bit of scraping :lol:

We stayed at a campsite just past Brussels on the Thursday night with Karlehsp, Ego, Junglefacejake & Gman86. We had a great night and were heavily entertained by Karle & Alices sons, Carl & Jake........This turned out to be a regular occurance throughout the weekend and although I didn't get any photos I am sure somebody did :lol:

Karle had a couple of issues with steering whilst away and soon realised he had a steering lock that worked, and whilst laying on the floor had a little knap

We stopped off for fuel on the way to Spa and I must have picked the most difficult exit of a petrol station. While waiting for Karle to try and get out of the situation, I thought I would get a photo when he finally caught us up :lol:

We then arrived in Spa early afternoon Friday to find that Gadget had saved us all a great little pitch not to far from everything.

Night then fell friday where everyone had a fairly quite one.....ready for Saturdays antics :lol:

I can see Aaron (Pete B's) Son being a hit with the ladies

Saturday then came and it was time for the show & shine - Lined up ready to go

Then came the best experience I have had in my van....well maybe

I had no camera for Saturday night so someone will have to fill in the gaps :lol: :lol:

After Spa we then headed back to Ghent for 2 more nights. The 'Ghent Festival' was on which turned out be another good experience. It had around 12 stages throughout the City Centre and was packed with people

And the beer of choice for the weekend 8)

Yes Steve, we were all very happy.....having said that Im sure not many of us were smiling on the return journey once we had reached Dover as we were all a bit tired :mrgreen:

I was doing a track day at Spa a few years ago and there was obviously a VW Festival on at the time - would love to do the track in the van (but perhaps in the right direction )
Having done the Top Gear track a few times, I now want to take the van to proper circuits :lol: :lol: Think it will be the 'Ring next...
