just new trainers and pants, it was a poor year for presents for me :(

oh and a canvas print of a beetle.

Tickets to see the Johnny Cash story at Peterborough Key theatre 8) looking forward to that one
Volkswagen bus calendar (all splits :( )
usual socks, shower gel, beer, books, cash
And some real bizzare shit including mushroom growing kit (buttons not psilocybin)

On the bus front, a splitty paper weight  , the mandatory mug, but does have a couple of low lights on it :D and a calander with a mix of all buses. This has come in handy and a date has been scribbled on it already (2nd June) as my main pressie from the wife was..

An all inclusive 12 night family holiday to Antigua! A proper shock as I never had a clue, bless her heart, she had worked, scrimped and saved for a year and nailed
£5000  But god knows how she and the kids kept it quiet all that time.
oh yes, there were tears of joy all round!

What a gal :D

Most haunted Live tickets (beneath this super cool exterior beats the heart of a geek!)
Set of Fooks (Chrimbo and Birthday)
Parcel shelf for the van
Balaclava (random present from my Mum but its so cool for the wrong reasons)
Stubby claw hammer (?)

A good year for presents although the last two may be put to good use after the father-in-law reversed into my missus car with out appologising putting a fuck off dent in the boot  twat

Got a shirt and a pullover from the missus, nothin' VW related :-(

But it's a nice shirt

I'll get my own VW goodies then

I think I got the same calendar and mug as streetboy ...

... just without the holiday to Antigua dates ;)

blogdroed, vw campers calander? tall white mug?

Now I feel guilty when I was banging on about we never seemed to have enough grub in the house and where was all the shopping dosh going :( not to mention being so busy at work myself I didn't twig the long hours she had been doing, and helping her brother in his new shop venture.

it was all a bit odd christmas morning, they all couldn't wait for me to open my pressies,( usually I'm last) a black travel bag, followed by a turtle keyring (still oblivious) then a bottle of suntan lotion (getting warmer now, thought we may be going to Spain as we had an offer from a friends to go next year) followed by a book on the carribean and a card with her savings book for 5k  At this point she and the kids were sobbing their hearts out and I still needed telling!

We spent the rest of the day, in between dinner, family and mass battery insertion, searching the web and had it booked that eve, and with a few quid spending left over. I won't forget this Christmas thats for sure.

Did cross my mind that that money could have purchased a tidy US import tho

I got a new exhaust from my boys :D

AND new headlights and tail lights from my lovely husband, he might get lucky over the hols if the brussels sprouts farts wear off

I got a gnarly Rotary watch from the wife.....christ only knows how she paid for it!!!
Biffy Clyro CD (which I recommend)
Loads of other bits - nothing van related though - they've made the splitty mistake too many times!!!! :D

Them's the ones ... fair play, though, your pressie sounds awesome! That's one hell of a surprise - you're one lucky guy!
