Fitted a fuel cut off solenoid and a complete set of new super duper ethanol resistant pipes, and before anyone asks the correct fuel pipe clips. Also wired in the warning light for the fire extinguisher. The pipes are a job I was advised on here to do when I got the van 18 months ago, on pulling the old pipe off the fuelpump it just broke leaving an inch of very dodgy rubber behind.

A second hand stainless steel back box arrived.

The tailpipe was in a rather sorry state.

So, armed with some rags, kitchen aluminium foil, T cut and a kitchen stainless steel spray cleaner I attacked it for 2 hours.

I emailed them in advance & they were very helpful, only condition is that you buy a photo from them which everyone does anyway.

Don't worry - the leisure battery leads are not live :D

I have a feeling it will take rather longer to fit the new interior.

Cheers

Travelled back from a chilled weekend camping sans toilet block at Rutland Water.

Bus cut out at traffic lights a few times on the way back & also felt a little hesitant pulling away. Still it got up to cruising speed OK so perhaps I was imagining it. Could it be the torrential rain - doubt it, it's usually OK? Come to think of it, it's not been right since I popped in that garage to give us enough fuel to get home. I only put 11 litres in .................of DIESEL   :|

Luckily no cat to ruin so I've bunged another 25 litres of unleaded in. It seems to run OK if not perfect - oh & it has a small plume of smoke when I pull away or press on.
I'm hoping it'll all get diluted in time & no need to drain off & waste all that fuel.

Oops. Three car (2x petrol & 1x diesel) family & that's the first time - hopefully the last.

Drove to Leeds festival to pick up my daughter and her friends, they weren't too injured after numpty lads thought it was fun to jump on the tent at 4 a.m. this morning, tent was totally trashed. :?

Got back off me hols and the weather was crap so built a small flat pack table for the van to be used like a coffee table and/or foot rest.

bit rough round the edges and needs adjustable feet but stopped me watching the crap telly....
