I met groundhugger there, really nice guy.
He gave me the front gutters I was looking for!

Steve, sorry I didn't meet you.

What did you guys pick up?

All the best.

Andy

I was there, first vehicle in the field over the other side of the road, only to find the tunnel flooded, nice. Apart from that, a great day was had -picked up some raaco drawers for 3 quid, nos backing plate, "bulge" panel / b post cut for 20 quid, dormy waste bin cheap, lhs and rhs near mint opening 1/4 frames for 8 quid, nos middle sill for a tenner, nos step rubbers really cheap off of a very nice Scotsman, brilliant Zippy for the boy and a Gallanite beetle for a quid. I was tempted by the hazet trolleys upstairs but he wanted mega bucks for em. Didn't meet any earlybayers today but did spot Deano and Graham L. Not quite the Bug/Dub freezes I remember where you always used to see Fast Freddie and Rikki James and earlies for sale for sub 7k and loads of nos parts, but as I was saying to the Mrs- I guess as time moves on, parts get fewer and prices go up! Still an improvement on last year which I thought was sparse.

Hahaha. That's Leon in the pic above selling his tintop westy. Hope you sold it dude it looked great value. Nice to meet you those louvres are spot on! 8)

Well done Lobie I had a nosy around your van and tried to have a word but you had a host of well deserved admirers. :D

Also met oxy-jon from here and picked up a cab door from him. We can now confirm you can get an early bay cab door over the rear seats of a mk6 golf! you can also shoehorn your mrs and two kids in as well.

Had a good chat with faux as well. Thanks for the roof toggles Jon, got to tell you mate your a hero in our house as my little girl asked me if the bloke I was talking to (you) was the guy out of the kids programme 'Deadly 60'
I obviously told her yes!! Get your pen ready for autographs mate at DATC! :D

I was there....Picked up a cab floor repair panel, ordered a scat shifter from VW Heritage, and bought the wrong side to what i actually needed front quarter light catch.

Wow, didn't realize so many from eb were there. Should have a designated parking spot the next time.

Sounds like some great bargains were had!

Better luck next time , eh?

;) It's still a bit rough around the edges, but it's getting there! Also, I don't have much of the interior in it at the moment as it doesn't get used in the winter, but I do drive it daily so not much point carting it around everywhere!

I had a good look around, searching for parts for the 'van and my Beetle, but left only with a couple of t-shirts from the stall upstairs!

I go to Dubfreeze every year and have never enjoyed wondering around the car park as much despite the amount of T4's/T5's about. Twas lovely weather for it! 8)
