Here a few pics of the rack. I havent added the strips that protect the roof yet but I plan on doing that soon then throw some vintage luggage on top.

I have seen one of this racks being sold locally and the guy claims it belongs to a bus, but I have never seen one like it before. Were they ever a VW option or aftermarket item ?
