I really miss my old tin top bay so I am looking to trade by lovely bug back for a van

The bug is a 1974 Karmann cabrio. Imported from Italy and rebuilt around 2003 by Paul Knight of ultra VW fame.

I nearly brought this van too. It was for sale on here and i saw it at Dubfreeze about 2 years ago. It was the first van i looked at but the price tag (was £5500) and the rot on the doors put me off. I still love the colour.

Had a similar prob with my twin carbs. Yes it leaks from there, but the problem came from a sticking needle valve. Once stationary the valve stuck open, fuel dripped down the carb and because the throttle butterfly was closed the fuel wouldpool around there and make its way out of the spindle.
Im a Art and Design Technician in a secondary school. I am a trained teacher but the hands on/technical role suits me better.
