    Swap wanted

I really miss my old tin top bay so I am looking to trade by lovely bug back for a van I know it’s a long shot but I suppose it’s worth a try. The bug is a 1974 Karmann cabrio. Imported from Italy and rebuilt around 2003 by Paul Knight of ultra VW fame. It’s a very tidy example that...

    velvet green panel

I nearly brought this van too. It was for sale on here and i saw it at Dubfreeze about 2 years ago. It was the first van i looked at but the price tag (was £5500) and the rot on the doors put me off. I still love the colour.

    Fuel leaking from 34Pict/3 Carb

Had a similar prob with my twin carbs. Yes it leaks from there, but the problem came from a sticking needle valve. Once stationary the valve stuck open, fuel dripped down the carb and because the throttle butterfly was closed the fuel wouldpool around there and make its way out of the spindle.

    Where to fit fuel filter

Between the tank and pump. And as others have said, Fitted somewhere where you can check it and deffo not above the dizzy.

    speaker set

I found some cheap speakers on offer in Halfords. Every now and then they do a clear out. I have some 4" ish Sony items in the front kick panels, these cost under £15. Out back i have some slightly chavy ripspeed 6x9's, they were £20. Keep an eye out for sales and internet deals.

What does your floor look like!

Black and white sticky tiles from BnQ. Layed ontop of 18mm ply. They were on offer at the time. The whole floor cost less than £15. :D

Anyone use their bus as a daily?

Ahh, the joys of driving your dub daily. Enjoy it now, because before long it’s gonna be cold and miserable again. You gotta love the outside lane drag/squeeze. I also like slingshot ting out of islands, especially when you just had Mr Astra up your chuff. I have now lost count at how many...
