Quite some time ago, there was a thread either here or in the gallery from someone who cut their complete rotten roof off, & replaced with a tintop. Can't seem to find it on search. Need inspiration & tips before I take the plunge....! :-)

Got my pop top unit in the for sale section. Looking to start a complete tintop conversion & restoration. First thing to get though will be a high quality cover, as it will be on the drive. Will swap the roof for a suitable cover..... ;-)

Mot on my earlybay runs out end of next week, and so the restoration mission starts... :-) Decided to go tintop, so the pop top is going. Had the van for just over two years, probably raised the roof no more than three times. Bellows look almost unused, no tears, no leaks. Admittedly everything...

Anybody know if they're still around...? Mailed & rung, but no joy.... :-(

Can anybody suggest anything before I throw these bloody Kadrons in the bin...?!! Got the mixture spot on. Got the idle spot on. 55 idles, 135 mains, 28mm venturis. Fuel pressure set at 1.5psi. Idles lovely. Crisp when blipping the throttle. Just will not hold revs when held open. Feels starved...

Fitted them fine. Put the balance pipe on. Ticks over fine, but dies under load. No reason to suspect timing or plugs etc. Runs a svda & electronic ignition. Thinking either mixture or main jets...? Fuel pressure set at 1.5 as per lowbugget.... Any ideas guys....? :-(

Went to check my plugs today. The socket was missing from my set. What size socket do I need to get, as can't remember the size it was...? :-)
