When i had a 72 crossover my local mechanic changed the rear brakes for me to the later style so its deffo possible...i just don't know how! I do still have the original parts in my garage cos i'm a part hoarder but i now have a 71 so they are surplus to requirements if you wanna keep cross...

The only way i could tell which side to fit them was by the notches in the pistons. (the notches were at the bottom on the originals).

I asked the same question to Brakes International! The bloke confirmed they are new cast calipers but reckons they subsidise by taking in the old ones for refurbing (which is the suppliers main business)

I have twin DRLA's and a crossover (fixed valence) and can drop the engine and put it back in no problems. I think the hole is bigger on a crossover though!?!

I have the JK stainless header, fits well and has pre heat pipes if you want to run standard carb. If like me you have twin carbs then you just leave the pre heat pipes alone as they are not drilled out to start with. Then there is loads of choice for back boxes as it is a standard small flange...

I have a blue coil and pertronix 1. Lovely jubbly! 4 years of use and u have never looked at it since fitting.

There will be a power cable from the original fuse box to the dash switch which then goes off to power the interior light in the back. Check a manual, figure out which fuse it is then move the cable from the original fuse box to the leisure battery fuse box. Easy!

Mine has just had the pipe removed and no blanking plug. Hasn't caused any problems so far but i suppose at some point i will fit a hose to one of the air filters!

Yes it would have gone to the air filter, i disconnected mine when i put on twin carbs!
