127mm(5inch) tube 3mm thick where can I get some

I've rang round a few places an most places seem to just have 4 1/2 I've got a 127mm hole cutter ready todo my notches but can find any tube

Was hopping one of you guys would know where to get some or have some I could buy

I used 76mm hole saw from ebay and 76mm pipe from ebay. Got 1.2m of pipe with a 3mm wall thickness. Seems OK but depends on how deep you want your notches?

always have some 3" and 4" OD pipe in stock as they are popular used at work. not sure how much 5" we have but knoow there are some short bits knocking about the workshop.

can get any size you want if your ordering, we use mostly stainless steel so it aint cheep... but it also doesnt rust.

will check tomorrow and post here at some point.

The thing was I have got a 127mm hole cutter now so need the 127mm pipe to go with it I did ask Dean but he said he didn't have any left he also said that 6 inch would be better
I'm goin pretty sam low so really goin to need the 5inch I think


Cheers for all the feedback an if you have got a few off cuts at work could I buy some please

Also it seemed that 5inch (127mm) only comes in 3mm or 3.2mm

only got 5" sh40 pipe which is heavy as fook!!

not got any 5" OD at all and only a short 200mm peice of 5" sh10 stainless which is about 130mm on the od!! :roll:

got a couple of meters of 4" though, have you cut the hole yet?? :roll:

No holes cut yet but I really think I need 5inch so what is that really heavy stuff you have I don't know to much about different metals

"heavy stuff" weighs in at 14.61 pounds per foot so you may want to thing about uprating your suspension if you want to use it!!!

sh10 only weighs 7.77pounds per foot.

but you need OD tube anyway which should be even lighter.. will dig out the figures if i can get this bloody wifi to work properly!!

Yeah figured that, most home peeps won't have tigs only migs....

I was after mild steel ready as I only have mig I rang steelstock today in swadincote they said they had some in stock
So I popped down an spoke to some one at the desk they checked there computer an yeah they do have some in stock but at another steel stock an thats in Scotland so that no good to me
