Nice! I was looking for an example of a spotlamp like that on an early bay.
I bought one just like yours a while ago but thought about selling it again because I didn't feel like drilling a hole in my bus and then finding out it didn't work with the doors or dash or something else...
BIG thank you!

Thanks easy ;)

T2-Nate: I guess you will need the brackets for a vw bus. No other one will work... however I'm not really sure
you will need the intalation kits 66 and 66RH. You may find this information here:

so.... while I was again in Lisbon, Hugo sent me these ones:

so I had to buy a new front panel:

... to fix this area:

but first, we had to clean it.
Fortunately the back metal sheet had no major rust:

But to weld this area, Hugo was waiting for this new tool:

I guess someone's been saving their pennies/eurocents....

How much is it actually to plate some bolts & plates?

Nice job on the bodywork by Hugo, he sure knows his stuff.

T2-Nate, there's a good reason for this: the bus is 300 Km's away from where I live.
I'll go there mostly on the weekends and I want to work on the bus in those 2 days. Having these bolts and all the other pieces ready to be mounted, will make the job easier.
At least I'll know there's everything I'll need. During the weekend there's no shop open where I can buy any piece if I need it.
In these boxes there are bolts and parts from the 2 buses, so I'm almost 100% sure I got here everything I'll need.

Although I had to sandblast some earlier....

I guess this was really worth the money spent:

so, 19,5 Kg for 40€... it's 2,05€/kg

I'm not really sure if this is expensive or not...

There was a lot to sandblast so a couple of days later I went again to Hugo's bodyshop to clean all those areas. In the way, I made a detour and went to another town to buy some bags with the proper kind of sand for this type of work:
