The engine is in! Still need some stuff to be done.

Rear engine support needs to be modified as the SC had a typ-1 1600 originally so the enginesupport I have isn't direct bolt-on to the engine.

Also some electrics needs to be figured out etc.

Loving the build up and really impressed seeing the excellent work you've done.

Can't wait to see it finished...

Good luck with it. :D

First start with the engine onboard.
More vidclips to come during the weekend. ;)

First drive behind!!! 8)

Drove it from the garage to the house yesterday. Not yet registered but I took a "movinglicence" for it so I drove legally on public streets anyways.. ;)

I still have to fix the front calipers as the frontbrakes seems to stick if I brake too hard.

I also have to pull the gastank as it appeared to be filled with tar...
Had to use a reservtank so I could drive...

Other than the small issues mentioned above it drove great! Even though I didn't have any frontshocks mounted yet...

Videoclips from driving coming up later today...

Hmm. Seems like the fusebox I bought dont fit to the original mount... Guess I have to fab up a new mount for this fusebox instead.

A few new photos in daylight on the outside. I'm pretty pleased with the scratchbuilt carb linkage.. ;)

Loaded onto the trailer on the way to the transport company's terminal that will deliver it to Netherlands. Mixed emotions...

Unfortunately I will not be hanging too much here from now on.

The first thing to go through is the wife's 66 type-1 beetle.
It needs new brakelines in the rear and the engine needs a light restoration. Possibly also repaint it in Seesand if I find the time for that before the summer. In the rear it will get some wider slotted widefives.

Also will continue working on the Splitty Crewcab.

And if time allows also work some on The Hebster.

The Kommander will have to wait some until I can continue with that...

So does the -36 Ford V8 Pickup project have to...

I guess I have projects for atleast this lifetime allready....
