here are those trims. looks to be in excellent condition especially the corners (needs a polish though), and comes with a full set of clips and screws

Woo hoo. MOT passed with no advisories!! Great deal with Mark at Cherished insurance (£164) as well today. Just need to get to the dvla on Monday to register.
          LAUGH'IN!!!!

Well it's been a while so I thought I'd update as "ginger", as my girls have nicknamed her, has been running brilliantly and we have been away most weekends having some great times. Happy Days!! :D
Since the MOT, the engine lost compression and ended up with some hideous end float that was beyond repair. So a 1641 from TES was bought along with an alternator conversion from Machine7 that fitted withought too mush hassle.
I replaced the clutch while the engine was out as it was slipping a bit, and tightened up the gear linkages.
The wheels were a bit tatty so I bought some OG 356 Chromies from Andewilson (4.5 upfront with 5.5 at the rear wheel pervs) some Whitewalls from Ant at Mr Whitewalls and a set of adaptors from petenice. (cheers y'all).
Next job are fitting some spots I have, fit some og deluxe trim I've got stashed, good polish with a decent machine, sort out little bits of bubbling, remove my coolbox unit and sink as we don't use them, then next year hit it with the lowering stick. 8)

looking good, just needs to be a bit closer to the ground

love it mate. to the average person it would look totally standard just with shiney wheels. why more people dont hunt these rims down is beyond me. so much better than off the shelf repro stuff that you fit, then go to a show and the bloke next to you has the same wheels  . it looks good even at that height which has got to be a good thing as i bet it rides well. :D

Your right. I want to try and keep it as original as posible hence the real period rims. Repros are good but original is obviously better. 8)
It rides great, but at motoway speed in only moderate winds its a bit of a handfull so will be looking at lowering it in the future. Better start saving !

Each to their own!
Mine will always be standard height (It means that I can use it as was intended....and it looks so right that way too).
:D
Nice van all the same....enjoy!
