i want to get agreed value insurance but it seems everywhere i ask want me to have another car which i don t have is there anyone who uses a company where this is not a stipulation aswell as garaged again my van is not garaged overnight but it is under cctv , behind 2 sets of huge gates and imobilised , short of puttin it in my house its pretty safe .

Have found Footman James very good, they will do agreed value if you present an independent valuation and you don't have to have a second car.

footman james were a bit pricey on my renewal this year. RH specialist were nearly half the price, I don't have another vehicle registered in my name but there is one in the household. Our van is kept in a garage so not sure where they stand on that bit....

give carole nash a try. mine is on agreed value but i did have to submit photos last year. just insured a 60s minivan with them this year, agreed value and no pics necessary.

just got rid of a mini clubman estate that was parked on the road and they insured it too.

Im with footman James, and am very happy with price for cover, agreed value, and UK & EU breakdown cover.
Renewal soon so hopefully it will come down a bit.....Hopfully. :|

I've been with HIC for the past 10years or so, they've been spot on. Think they've teamed up with Volksworld mag so you may get a deal through an ad...

How much should a 35 year old man with full no claims pay for an early bay LHD Westy garaged.
Agreed value of £15000, unlimited milage.

Is £350 steep??? :?

sounds steep to me .......... i've got a few years on you but i'm paying £133 this year, including breakdown cover (very useful today in fact!)

My renewal from footman James was 350 but rh came in at 185. Covers me and the Mrs, we are 29 and 27

Footman James increased 50% on last year's price!
