Hi All

My tar board has seen better days. Curious if people have used anything else to replace these and the old insulation they hold?

I've been on a silent coat / van liner mission recently and wondered if something like this would do.

Cheers

*disclaimer- I don't have an answer for ya!*

I'm interested in this too, if anyone's done something unusual I'd be keen to copy it.

I was thinking of cutting some new ones out of millboard but i don't have a template (if anyone has one or can make a cardboard copy i would be interested)

Not exactly what you wanted to know but I chucked the foam insulation out from mine and fitted this stuff:

As my Bay is a crosser I've never had the hardboard type stuff, I have a 2 part metal frame that is pop-rivetted to the top of the engine bay like this:

Not the best pic, after a fire Ext fitted:

Vinvan... Like your thoughts. My boards all still in place so I can try and measure sizes if that helps? Btw, where did you got your millboard from? Thinking the idea of replacing the t-boards is to keep any insulation in place?

Mags.... Tidy looking engine bay! That dynamat product is the kind of thing I was thinking of using.

Which fire system did you go with? My engine is coming out for a few weeks so good time to get a tidy up done

Keep ideas coming!

Cheers
