Clear Lacquer

Been toy with the idea of getting my van lacquered.

Thinking Matt lacquer.

Any only ever done it or have and views, good or bad..

I don't have a garage so the poor van sits out in the weather until it goes into winter storage.

I haven't had a car lacquered but have a citroen where the lacquer is peeling off and can't feasibly be fixed without a total strip and respray.

I'd use some good quality wax like collinite to protect it instead
