Padded dash not in great shape. V'd out all splits, and under cut foam so i can get bumper filler up under the viynl. Sanded to shape, plastic primer, a coat of satin black on the back, then to put texture back i apply a very light coat of stone chip, done plenty like this, never had an issue, done my fastback ten years ago and still like new.. Just need to wait for stone chip to harden then top coat..
