Deluxe trim corners

Anyone fitted any :?:

Just offered up mine and they (I have 3 pairs all used OG stuff) all need to be forced :? into the correct curve of the bus...when one end is touching the bus the other is about 3cm away.....any ideas..

...is this normal :?

When clipped it will stay in place but feels wrong, too tight..

Everytime I become brave and take the drill out something puts me off fitting the trim sets

I assume its a new repro set? i believe the repro sets all fit this way and have problems with the corner sections.

I have a set from the US which i havent tried yet but i believe the sets are 'handed' different for LHD and RHD which i think will give me problems now.

some of my spare bits that were really quite manky I have polished up to mirror finish :mrgreen: just need to see how they tarnish or find some way to protect them.....

Though they look the same they are handed, I fitted a left side to my right and it took alot of effort and bending and never looked right, got a proper one and it fitted like a dream.
Remember that if its second hand it may have been bent a little on removal and may need a little persuading to refit.
