OK so how much force to push the pin from the drive of a dizzy

bosch 205 T

now its been a while and i'm getting old and feeble but I cant remember it being this bastard difficult and dont want to muller a decent vac dizzy

I normally grip the drive in a vice and then tap out the pin with a screw driver and small hammer, shouldn't take too much effort as I recall

You will have to beat it out with a nail punch, they are bastards to get moving but once they start its not too bad.
The worst thing is holding the drive dog still while you do it, I think an engineering V block would make it much easier that trying to hold it in a vice.
I clamped the prongs on the drive dog when I did mine but it f**ked it up, luckily I had a crap 009 which I nicked the drive dog off.

Ah well half way and it aint moving I have the Dog in a wooden V to cushion it and its just not shifting .... my knuckles are being displaced though

some times they are allmost loose and others you can beat the cr*pout of and still wont move and you will nadger the drive dog.try a bit of heat :?:

Done that the only thing I aint tried is a bigger hammer my left hand aint gonna be thanking me .... luckily thats not the important one ;)
