What about Newark it's half way between Notts n Lincoln n on the A1 so easy to get to from North or South could make it easier for more EB folk to join in?

Roman Way would be a good venue then, up until last week I lived across the road from it.

If I don't have to work that weekend, then I'll be there (wherever 'there' is!). So that's Sunday 15th March, time and exact location to be confirmed? Will have to leave suggestions for location to those who know the area better.

whereabouts in long eaton are you mate ? i used to work at herrburger brooks... we lived in chilwell for 12 years... small world etc. etc. me wife was up there last weekend, her brother lives on nottingham road literally outside the old stadium

Thought I would point out 22nd March is Mothers Day. Not going to affect everyone I know, but it counts me out. And where is Sherwood Pines anyway? (Nottingham area obviously....)

This is reminding me of a sketch on TV, The Fast Show or something similar. Ended up something like 'OK, so we'll meet up the last Sunday in October and do something really spontaneous!'
