Hi all,

I've removed the engine and tank from r lasses newly acquired 66 split and I can now see the gear box needs some attention as does the surrounding body work.

I have never had to take a trans out of a split yet so the reduction box set up is me to me.

Does anyone know the best way to do it so that I can leave the wheels on for the time being so I can still wheel it in and out of the garage with the trans out ?

Sorry for the non EB question.

Thanks.

short reply ,you cant take box out without removing hubs as well(same as a swing axle beetle)make a trolley with hd castors allways useful.
