Does anyone have a good source to buy new tee moldings in correct colour. Think i need for all the furnitures, so its some meters in total.
I've seen GoWesty has some, but is in Us and might end up being
very expensive, as our danish customs want's a part of the cake, when ever it's outside EU..
see the pics why i need new moldings

you can get it on ebay, but ot in the right colour, if you do find it in the right colour let me know, i have been looking for ages, but cant find it :(

'Chewie baker' on the SSVC forum sells it. £1 per foot. colour match and profile is very good, perhaps just a tad thinner than genuine, but not enough to notice.

This picture shows a length of it down the long edge of the wardrobe

Thanks for info.

That's some price diff. 1£ pr m at Rainbow Conv. and appx 3£ at Chewie.(if 3 foot = 1 m)

Thanks for pic of furniture.
Actually i have measured all lenghts, just need to make a drawing and get it on here.
But in total i think its over 5 meters..gotta find those notes.

Yes, but the rainbow conv stuff is the wrong colour  you pay your money and take your choice......

Hi!

As it's only plastic, could you not paint it any colour you want with plastikote?

Cheers!

I think at £1 per foot the chewie stuff is bang on - it's the right colour, right profile, what more would you want. I'll definately be ordering more for a little project i have in mind ;)

€6 a metre here:

You're right on Popcorn Balls, if Chewies are the closest to original, and you say good for them, then i must try to find him.
HipShaker, The ones at Reprowesty also looks to be the right colour.
I'm glad I asked here..it seems there are other alternatives than Gowesty.
Not that I have anything against Gowesty, its just much easier for me to buy inside Eu.

And I don't know if Gowestys is wide enough?. I just measured the old molding and it very close to 19 mm. But the size stated at Gowesty is 11/16 inch. And according to a table i found that should be 17.4625 mm. see http://mdmetric.com/tech/cvtcht.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I dont think its a good idea to paint the molding, i would if it was impossible to get or extremely expensive. But it might crack and be to shiny.
I have painted other plastic parts in my splitbus, and it's 50/50 if it still looks cool after a year.

Hey there

I promised you a picture of the finishes result.
We'll i quickly did the sink and folding tables.

But i can't finish it right now as the top of the spice rack it totally destroyed and can only be used as a pattern, so it waits a bit.
And the left folding table is waiting for me to find out the correct brackets for the 1968 westy
Does any of you guys have a picture of the correct brackets??

When i compared Chewies T-molding with the old og T-molding, it was obvious that the new one was more grey than the old one, so i'm glad i bought so many feets, so i can do all the furnitures. I'l the split westy had these light grey T moldings?

I'm very pleased with the result so far, check the pics:
