i have a as41 block ith a bolt on dipstick which i acquired years ago and built engine all back up and have no hole behind dizzy on left side to put pressure sender in .i dont want to strip it all down to drill into gallery do you think i could just drill and tap oil cooler mount and gromet the cable through fan shroud any ideas welcome

thanks stu

You could drill and tap normal spot, getting as much swarf out as possible, then remove the oil cooler and turn engine over on starter until oil coming out of oil cooler 'in' hole on case is free of swarf. Not perfect but should help. Bit messy unfortunately.

engines not in bus at the moment? oil coolers removable so can blow it out away from engine bolck
