So, during the process of sand blasting the bus and cleaning other parts, i've now got no reference as to the ride height for the rear suspension on the bus anymore!!!!!!
I now have to guess at where the spring plates should be! This was one part of the tear down that I didn't take any photo's of as I had marked the plates as well as the mounting surface.
Best laid plans and all, ha ha ha. So now I'd like to know if anyone has a simple way to to get the bus back to it's original LOWERED stance without fitting and checking, then re-doing it all over again.

Mats on the above pic ^^^ do you know what make, profile, width those tyres were?

Is the front just spindles, adjusters or narrowed beam? I won't ask the back haha :lol:

the front is just on adjusters, I need the beam narrowed about four inches so the front wheels don't chew out the wheel arches now. The tyres I can;t remember their profile or width, but because I like you, I'll chase it up for you tomorrow.

So, I had some free time this weekend, and was able to spend it on the bus, which was a great feeling.
Got the rear suspension sorted after the third try, but now just like Goldilocks said, it's just right




got a fair bit done over the weekend, and it's starting to look like a bus again!!!




I tried the front badge on to see how it was coming along.

Gvee, it’s a Westfalia Continental interior from an Aussie delivered bus.
