OK so maybe I am being stoopid , but I do find it a real pain to get oil into the filler pipe of my engine , Particuarlly as i use morris oil in a square can with no extendable neck . Any tips / trick you guys use to help me not loose half a litre in my engine bay each time I put oil in :?:

i use a cheap plastic container from a motor factors, has an angled spoute, and a kinda 90 degree top,if that make some kinda sense

otherwise use a small funnel

I've got a funnel with a flexible screw-on tube on the end from a shop in newquay. Then use a small 1 litre can to fill up with as anything bigger tends to send oil everywhere.

It works dude...you know I have no problem filling my bus with oil

GSF have a oil jug with an expandable hose which works really well.

The best thing about it is that it has a screw cap on the top and a screw cap on the hose. I can fill it up from the Morris can and tighten up both caps and keep it in the van.

It has really saved me throwing oil all over the engine.

I use an old skool half pint tin jug, with a proper spout that fits right inside the stock filler. Never use one of those spun alloy aftermarket fillers with the breather, they make it a 100 time harder.

Ive got a pyrex jug stolen from the misses!

I use the spill everywhere method  ..............funnel with flexi bit...

...just fitted the wide empi sump was there for hours!!! :x

I just bought a cheap 99p plastic measuring jug but i have used the spill everywhere method before

washing up liquid bottle for me....

also have one for the brake fluid... 8)

Go through this link thread.

The plastic spouted bottle that EP90 axle oil is quite good - i usually spill it when filling the bottle but not in the engine bay. having said that, I just ordered a spouty jug from JK....
