Rear Door

Hi everyone. I bought a really good condition rear door for my crossover project and now that I have come to rub it down and paint it I find that it is wrong, (must be from a later model, different lock design and hinge position). It's a californian import.
Would anyone like to exchange it for a usable early door?
or does anyone know if it can be fitted with later hinges and striker plate, if these are available

I am pretty sure crossovers use the later hinge pattern on the tailgate, so you've got yourself an early one!
