When i'm tootlin along van wonders slightly.. no biggy untill you have to turn a corner. The steering seems fine ,then it just lets go somehow, half way around it will just suddenly veer off till you re-adjust you steering line. Quite scary
Anyone had similar experiences of this and what it could
I've adjusted the box to near as perfect when in the air so not that i don't think unless its realy badly worn
Its a 72 crossover Bay
:?:

check the steering rods underneath, mine did that cos they were bent up  replaced and is fine now 8)

like easy said check your tie rods, also check the steering damper and the idle pin. any wear will make the steering a bit iffy

My list of "things to do" just keeps growing :(
Track rods seem fine a friend mentioned the trailing arms/ball joints etc
possible or not
It frightening when it happens its so sudden
i think it probably wise to replace idler pin then, any veriation on years
of van
Cheers guys
