shortly after the pigs flew overhead, my engine arrived

unfortunately my mechanic leaves for a 10 day holiday to france tommorrow, and my bus is locked up in his unit

so no more updates for a while

engines being built up now, and windows go back in anyday now, then its mot time.

no pics at the mo unfortunately

this may also be up for sale very soon, dependant on if I buy something else I have my eye on, it wont be cheap, but its been done to a very high standard as you can see, with no expense spared , and a few cool mods such as the t25 hatch.

I have one, it is almost new and was running great before it was taken off. (I bought from Creation Blue, but I managed to sort mine out..... :lol: )

Engine now together, new 30/31 pict carb ready to be bolted on, then its time to fire it up.

Rear bumpers on, front one goes on soon, along with the chrome trim for the windows

Mot hopefully monday, will be its first trip under its own steam for 19 years

More good work Gary. Out of interest are you fitting the crome trim into the window seals whilst they are in the van?

thats the plan, got new plastic chrome trim to fit

gonna be a pig of a job im sure

Keep the window rubbers in the airing cupboard right up to when you put the trim in mate, the heat makes them easier to handle and more pliable.

Long evening getting down and dirty, engine had to come back out, no compression on no3, so replaced the piston and cylinder head, problem solved 8) Front bumper back together and fitted.

engine back in and got it fired up and running under its own steam for the first time in 19 years. MOT will be done by the end of the week............wooooohoooooo
