not your average post i must admit but i have to share this with my friends here on earlybay and indeed the world.
Friday afternoon going about my business as usual i felt a little unwell. I was picking my brother up from the airport in newquay...anyway i got on the a30 and was doing the usual 80+ when all of a sudden my heart started feeling a little not normal. Both my hands went numb followed by both arms...i tried to ride it out with many deep breaths but after another severe cramp in my chest i pulled over. What happened next will change my life forever. I fell out of my van, could not speak or stand and well some fella called an ambulance. Well i`m thankful it wasn`t a heart attack but at the time i`m sure it was. It turned out to be a stress attack. The paramedics were awesome and i suppose the point of this post is to raise awareness of stress. Its a dangerous thing and if you are feeling worked up switch off log out and just chillax.

fook scotty hope alls well now fella......had a similiar thing happen to me through stress also.....scary shit dood.

was told just to relax and chill, most days i now spend almost comatose

sounds crazy, but if this starts to happen again breathe deeply into a paper bag it stops the hyperventilating and its quick. Saw BA do it too a passenger on a transatlantic flight. ;)

Hi Scott, hang in there, I can fully understand how stress can effect you in different ways, been there and got the Tshirt :x

Hope you are feeling better Scott, that is some scary stuff  I agree with the others go on a Holiday, go to sunny Mexico for a cerveza or two.

Yeah that would've been a scary moment...sounds like you need to drop back a gear or two.
Turn on...Tune in...and Drop out dude.
Steve

Glad everything is fine, i know its scary shit when it happens. As a paramedic we are seeing an increase in these kinds of stress attacks. Think the current economic climate has a lot to do with some of them especially here in london. If it does happen to people the best thing to do is to try and stay calm and breathe normally. Always dial 999 just incase it is something worse plus its amazing the calming effect we have on people.

Glad your okay dood!! take it easy chap and its all gravy ;)

dont really think hes got the option to go away just yet....with his new business just getting off the ground and customers already on the horizon....

hey should be good and all cool shortly though fella..... then sit back and let the cash roll in

or is that.... sort all the mayhem from customers that cant drive a bus
