As low as i can go on standard beam adjusters and 1 spline at the back. Speedo reads 60mph when im doing 25/30. Knocks and bangs like a ******* but its ok.

Hi Guys, I need some advice... I have a 69 westy currently stock ride height but soon to have beam adjusters and t/h dropped spindles. I would like to run Porsche fuches replicas but the adapters I have found from 205 x 5 to 5 x 130 are 20mm thick and I’m worried the extra track width might cause headaches when lowering!

Does anyone have a lowered van with Porsche adapter?

Any advice much appreciated

how about converting your front brakes to early 944 N/A disks? That way you get the porsche pattern and the upgrade of disks. Just a thought :?:

I have a '71 westy, and was wondering how low I can go without notches and tubs.

Do you have any issues with rubbing/ bottoming out....................with the bus I mean

Here is mine!
Front: 145/65 R15 on 1" narrowed Torque wheels
Rear: 195/60 R15 on 5.5 Torque

I'm digging the look of this bus that's for sure 8)

clearly they know nothing. :lol:

i personnal not done anything to it yet, only picked her up couple of weeks ago like this.
but i think its had front beam raised and narrowed (beam now sits in cab just under the seats) and arches tubbed. no dropped spinndles i dont think.
rear has been notched and had spring plates stepped.
we its warmer and drier i will be able to have a better look under and see whats what.

I think i saw this on eBay. Internal beam with adjustors.
