My hobby is kept on a tight budget, and therefore I can no buy deep dish Fuchs wheels or new slot mags! So my setup so far is a set of 15" free Mercedes wheels, 40 £ used 195/60-15 tires and a set of almost free Mecedes steel hubcaps. Got the adjusters for the front beam in the glove box. Should be on the front beam, but had the car MOT tested a week ago for the first time since 1998, and they are not that fond of lowered cars that haven't been aproved by the norwegian trafic authorities.

165/60/R14 Front

As low as i can go on standard beam adjusters and 1 spline at the back. Speedo reads 60mph when im doing 25/30. Knocks and bangs like a ******* but its ok.

This has changed a bit.

Now running a 4" narrowed beam on King and Link pin and dropped spindles and adjustable plates on the rear.

175/60/R15 front, lowered on adjustable beam. 195/60/R15 rear dropped 1 spline.

Just clears the speedbumps, very grown up!

My bus appears on page 4 also, via the PO!

Perhaps it is 2 splines low at the rear, can anyone tell from sight? I haven't touched the ride height since buying it a couple of years ago, I have only increased the front height a little using bigger tyres to get it over the bumps...

Love this bus, and it was a big inspiration to how I wanted to go with mine stance wise.
I especially liked the fact that it was easily adjustable in height when required....

So thankyou Mycha ;-)

Very very very nearly got a new photo up. But that photobucket is one slippery lil customer

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, Especially after a beer or two

Here are two of my buses.
The first one is a 1969 fake panel van with adjusters in the front and adjustable spring plates from my own shop.(Fabrication By Franke)
The wheel is 16 inch Ford Galaxy with 195/45/16 tires and ET 53mm Had to modify the front wheel hubs in a lathe because of the smaller centerhole but now it works fine.

My second bus is a 1970 Kleinbus under construction.
The bus have a 178mm raised and 95mm shortened ball joint beam with an airbag mounted in the center of the upper torsion tube. (above the floor)

C-notch in the rear, hi-jackers and adjustable spring plates.

The wheels in the picture is 15x5.5 with ET12 and 155/60/15 and 165/65/15 tires.
In the future I will change to a set of custom made 17 inch t5 steel rims with widefive bolt pattern. :)
