But anyways, here's my bus:
Wagenswest 4" narrowed adjustable beam with drop spindles
Rear 3.25" drop boomerang plates and one notch down in the rear
Wheels are 15x7 all around
Tires are 165/45 front and 195/60 rears
The rear is low as I can go without needing to c-notch

Today I've been arsing around with wheels.
Little update, just had a mooch around on the net
Going by whats written there, and using a couple of steel rules, the difference between the front face to the wheel mounting surface and the back face to the wheel mounting surface is 20 mm, so the ET on my burners is 20, as per the current wheels, so what gives, why cant I get a tyre under there??

Looks like the problem I had. You might need narrower tires like a 195 or 185 tire and once it slips past the fender and lowers down the camber should help with the fitment. Or try deflating the tire a bit to fit it up past the fender and then reinflate.

It's a 1971 westfalia with a 1776cc motor, single carb
It had some front end damage so the nose clip was replaced with Bus Boys late bay clip, hence the early and late bay turn signals.
The previous owner had replaced the pop top for a faux-vinyl top, non-retracting, lol.
The wheels are Enkei EK98 which are I assume supposed to BBS RS replicas.
Has some pretty low offset, something like ET 17 offset
Although the lug pattern is 5x112. I had to bore our the lug holes from 12mm to fit 14mm lug bolts.
Planning to run smaller tires in the rear. Still need to get adjustable spring plates and C-notch the frame...and eventually go AIR ride
Bus looks killer, just watch clearance on the adjustable springplates with those 7 inch rims, as I found out (see above)
