wanted doors and engin hatch

hi gettin the van back from the menders the weekend been told the doors are shoot as is the engin hatch can any 1 help runnin out of the green stuff so need to be cheep also is it true that a 68 is the only year where the locks are differant and will any engin hatch fit thanks

Yep '68 doors have the lock up near the window (conventional style).

I'm pretty sure any Early Bay engine lid will fit a '68.

Good doors aren't cheap - if they are they are probably shot too!

I paid £160.00 each for very good USA doors from SKP early last year, they were blasted a few months ago and are near perfect.

I found a great door for my 70 just up the road in Wiltshire, the guy had a few more too £150 and he even sand blasted the prob areas to prove its solidity, and made a cuppa 8)
