I have a question on some of the stuff in my 70 Westy. I am totally new to this type of bus so I have know idea what these things are or what they are used for. Also, is there somewhere on the web that one can see a copy of a brochure for the bus when it was new? Something that kind of tells the features of the bus?

First off, is this my brake reservoir? If it is, I need a new one. It has a crack in the side!

What is this little plastic thing for? It is located on the drivers side floor.

Last, what is this meant to hold? Located behind the driver seat.

Thanks.

The first one it is your brake fluid reservoir.
The second one I have never seen before , sorry.
The third one some people think it is a map holder but not sure.

no1 is brake res,not sure if you can get round ones ,might have to be square, also get seal and clip.
no2 is clip that holdes brake res pipe to m/cyl.
no3 holds wheel brace?jack goes under seat.

Thanks everyone!

That sucks that it is the reservoir. LOL Guess I need to start looking for a replacement.

Anyone got a picture of #3 holding the wheel thingy? I'm not sure if I am reading it correctly. It's for the jack handle or the lug wrench? My jack is mounted under the passenger seat, along with something else, but I forget now. Will have to go out and look!
