Put new wheels on only to find that 195/65R15s are too high for the rear wheel arches to leave any suspension travel margin :(

Same tyres fit perfectly on the splitty steelies. Its the Replica BRM offset that is making this impossible

After loosing my clutch last week and narrowing it down to a faulty release bearing, we pulled the engine out today and discovered the release bearing arm to be broken. With the engine out and winter almost here, might as well tear the engine down and slowly do a rebuild of all its bits indoors before spring :)

Yesterday fitted a 3 dr wardrobe, a computer desk, an old office desk (like bank managers used to have) a dining chair and 4 banana boxes of stereo equipment, oh and an ironing board and some random bags and moved them to a friend's house up a steep hill in Ambleside, and decided I can't live with the noisy gearbox, 3rd and 4th gears drown out the engine :shock: oh, my battery won't hold charge either.

unpacked container filled of early bay parts here in Pakistan, one of the largest ever EB parts shipment of the country, mostly bought on here on this forum including RHD slider complete with all mechanisms etc., full set of seats (front walkthrough pair, middle RHD full width and rear bench), BRMs. splitty K/L adjustable beam, horseshoe plates, ball joints and another 5 dozen more small but valuable bits ranging from seat clamps to seals to quaterlights to NOS exhaust to Empi Shifter to round reflectors etc. etc.

Thanks to everyone who helped put them together.

Plz excuse the mess in the van, its being stripped for full resto :)

Put on the rear bumper to figure out if I want to tuck, smooth and paint match the bumper or leave it stock. So far everyone likes the tucked, smoothed paint matched along with deluxe trim.

Today, well last night as I fell asleep posting this!

1. Took angle grinder to drivers side chassis rail.

2. Refited new rocker covers to engine.

3. Cleaned original tin ware ready to be laquered.

Tonight is welding in new chassis rail and jacking points.....it is coming together slowly.

Thanks, I actually did a little write up here:- http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=54458" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You can't really do the trailer wiring unless you convert the US lights like this as the Trailer has separate amber lights and brake lights.
I'll add I little bit as to watch I did with the trailer wiring for you :D
