Inver Mill, near Dunkeld, Perthshire.

Cracking night. Even though it did pee down.

After a little adjusting late last night, my son and I have the stance we wanted ... for the moment. We might drop the front a little bit more depending on ride quality.

Stock 14 inch steelies with General Tire Altimax RT 205/70R14 on rears and 195/65R14 on fronts. Rear down one outer, front down 3 inches with CPI adjusters. Shorter than stock gas shocks on all corners.

what a beautiful panel very nice

Picked this little gem up in the rain

Started an oil change on a seriously low panel. Had to jack the bugger up to get things done!

Can't have done many miles since the last change George, check the mileage chart. Hope you are having fun

Finished up my alternator conversion, fitted new plugs, an air cleaner and rocker covers. Set the valve clearances and finished up tarting it all up.

show n shine next sunday and still loads to do

That's not the right corner for a 72 mate. There will be nowhere to secure the end of the bumper/splash pan to.
Just making you aware before any paint goes on

Drove it, couldn't wait for plates so made my own (should get my pressed metal ones this week)

Yesterday I pulled the engine. Little tricky doing it on a slope and so close to the floor!

How do people get that top-right nut on|off!

Today I started stripping the ancillaries and degreased the block. Changed rocker seals, reset the valve clearances, pulled off the rusty tin, exhaust off and all sorts..

Just about to order the few little bits I need to put it all back together over evenings this week. Engine needs to go back in on Saturday as I want the van running again before my birthday!

I'll have another check but it was the opportune moment because I needed to drop the engine. I've added another 700 miles on since I picked it up from you
It was pretty black to be honest so it was probably due it again soon enough

Crikey Mart, nothing) like cutting it fine! Good luck on getting to freeze (might Even head over myself concreting footings permitting). Make sure they don't rush it just for the sake of making it to one show though.

yesterday I fitted my new plates and the group buy hot oil sensor :D

I'll update my gallery thread with the next part of the tale soon :msn4:

Hope to get the engine re-installed on Saturday 8)

Taking the dash out of my van for a bit of TLC over the winter.
Spent an hour trying to get the steering wheel off, gave up and made a brew.
