I fitted my starter motor after stripping and cleaning the solenoid switch, seems to work fine now :D
and fitted a quick shift kit, well chuffed with it
Then it started raining

Put 4 coats of clear lacquer on my bus. For some odd reason its pulled white primer through 5 coats of blue in 1 place! Bit pissed off with that, spent ages getting it right!

I 'lubed' my rear axle nuts in preparation for my rear wheel stud, adapter and wheel swap. I wonder if it will stay dry this weekend??

Good luck with that mate

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,Maybe if you live in Oz

The nuts or the weather! Both pretty bad.

Bought some hubs off Mattp today, cleaned up and pressed in long studs, now, will it ever stop raining??

Took the glove box and kick panel out to run down some leaks.

Found one coming through the headlight bucket. See the light coming through?

Hubby fixed that one with some Mar Glass. (fiberglass bond). He made sure there were no other spots too. LOL Not pretty but you don't see it when the kick panel is on.

I also found the pesky leak by the windshield too. The corner of the seal doesn't quite touch the metal on the bus and the water was coming in and around the seal. I used a hook tool to raise the rubber and squirted clear silicone up in there from the outside. Seems to have worked, so I put it all back together. Drove it in the rain the other night and it sat out in the rain that night also, and the next morning it was nice and dry inside. Happy camper now! :D

Stripped the bumpers back to bare metal, Rear is good so is the front middle but the ends are rotten

Well after the straps on my Hamilton Classics winter cover (absolute ****, complete waste of money) tore off completely in the wind, I took the bus for a decent spin. Roll on spring....

Fitted my earlybay.com sticker ready for busfreeze tomorrow :)

Why didn't I buy my bus years ago !?

Filled it up with parts that were on my garage floor hoping that the inside of my bus will be drier than my garage floor should my road flood! Poxy weather!! :x

Fitted new hub caps and beauty rings supplied by Reezvaan, very pleased with them...

What color is your bus? Reason I ask is because it looks like the color my hubby painted his bus. We don't really have a name for his, we call it "Bobby's color" because he mixed hunter green with white till he got a color he liked. LOL

Fitted an aerial and electric washer pump today , will attempt to tidy up some under dash wiring tomorrow ( looks like spaghetti junction under the dash , previous owner/s had a scotch lock fetish I think )
Also found the original German reg document that I got when I bought the bus ... Had forgotten about it
