Headlining fitting day.

ffs, that's a bit short.

Oh well, at least the window reveals are done.

Wow, you're brave tackling a headliner! If you need any advice you could try Stewart Rockliffe @ VHS Trimming (Droitwich). He's a good lad (fitted my headliner) :)

A bit more progress.
Engine bay and wheel arch area cleanup ready for paint.

The engine hatch installation is a bonus.

Right hand wheel arch and fuel tank platform all sorted. Just a little sand and grinding/welding detritus.

Factory seam sealing was a bit economical.

But it appears I didn't do a very good job with the steam cleaner all those months ago.

Two hours later all ready for rust proofing and a coat of primer.

Before

After

Late bay Swedish market headlamp washer. Only just fits, even with the metal removed it's bit tight between the airbox and indicator mounting. Who'd have thought it, late bays are way different to '68 buses. :ROFLMAO:

Chopped off handbrake mech out.

Cab stripped, and floor prepped again.

Underside of cab floor, scraped, wire brushed, cleaned, degreased and primed.

Ready for seam sealing, etch priming and a coat of Raptor once I've done the rest.

Headlining finally in.

It does show where the roof isn't straight though.

N/S door finished, well apart from snapping the lock pull button, so the lock mech isn't in.

Windows next, or the dash, or finish cleaning and painting under the floor, or the engine bay, or the interior......
