Scary to find this was my steering coupling, ripped in two
Inner peg bearings were seised solid in the steering box, sorted and handles much better now

Recently I went down to see Leon at Concept pop tops in Poole for a new interior for the bus.

I based the design on a car I've always loved since I was a kid - the Ford GT
Think I need to change the Cath Kidston laminate now.

The old drivers seat was knackered, luckily Leon had a mint one sitting there ready :D

Front arches were replaced while she was in for the new beam. And the front was repainted as I wasn't completely happy with it.

Replaced the old engine with a Reconditioned 'Turnkey' engine from VW engine company. Went with a 1600 twin port.

Just as a word of advice make sure you photograph the install and keep records of the engine service etc backed up with photos, there’s been a few instances now where VWEC have refused to cover engines on warranty due to ‘installation’ & ‘maintenance’ issues. It may seem over the top but they are questioning installs carried out by garages that know what they are doing.
