It's not new it's the original one cleaned and t cut and polished,I have managed to polish the coil and generator straps, and distributor clamp. I was going to get them chromed, then just buy new shiny ones off eBay,but thought I'd give a couple of polishing mops on a drill a go,I'm more than impressed with the finish,at least you know it's going to fit after!good luck with your build, any pics?

Decide to splash out on the Vintage Speed exhaust,YOLO and all that.
Just the carb rebuild then tidy the gearbox/engine bay.Is it correct that the fresh air pipes for the heater now extend right down to the heat exchangers?cant be any different I guess.
I'm selling my standard set up in for sales, have a look if you're after one.

Looking good.
Thanks mate.Trying to keep as much original stuff as possible(its so much better than any repro crap),and clean and polish it.I cannot recomend highly enough how easy it is to buff and polish dirty crappy metal with a drill and a kit off" metal polishers "on ebay.

This morning I gave the engine bay a final tcut and polish

Don't suppose you've got pics of the back of the bus with the bumper and over riders fitted? Trying to see how good the vintagespeed looks and how close it sits to the overriders.

All in and running, short test drive complete with just a bit of carb adjustment and gear selector adjusting to do.
