Hi everyone, Iv just been trying to browse through the Alan schofield website to see if they have the panels i need and none of it seems to be working. If i click on any of the links from the pics of the panels it comes up with an error message.

Just wondered if anybody else has this problem when looking through their website???

cheers

Rob

Their e-commerce element of the site has not been working for a while. The site had originally a "shop" on the backend, but recently (last 2-3 months) the shop part has been taken down. The links to the various parts work, but after that, as per the messge on the front of their site says, ring to get the best up to date price :)

yep, been down for a while, I can't be bothered ringing.Unless the price is there in front of me I tend to go where ever makes it easier for me & I can browse in my own time at my leisure, not paying for a phone call full of "hang on a minute,I'll check.....which one was it again " its as annoying as for sale posts with "for sale - offers" - ??? Sorry, got side tracked then - yes website been down for a bit.

yea i know what you mean. I hate talking to people on the phone to order stuff. thats why i wanted to look online so i could sort out what i needed at my leisure. I have been told thar schofield make the best repro panels tho so i might have to give them a ring.

According to the catalogue I received today with my new inner front valance 29b (the windscreen and bulge repair) is £75
I also agree they do the best repro panels on the market.

Have they finally released a 'NEW' catalogue as the one I got earlier this year was still out of date price wise!!!

Nothing wrong with the phone. Nice to talk to like minded people in the middle of the day. When all my workmates died of boredum ages ago listerning to me talking about VDubs constantly  .

Yeah, actually speaking to people, now there's a novelty. Ain't interpersonal skills brilliant
But seriously, they will make sure you're getting the right part, instead of you clicking a button, getting it through and then swearing at yourself for getting the wrong thing.

i phoned up day before yesterday phone call lasted just under 6 minutes i needed
all 6 out riggers
cable tubes
inner sills
outer sills
few other bits
spent just under £300 there, didnt have to hang on they just took a list of what i was after and bus age/spec and job done, very nice an helpful, also helps i suppose if ya know what ya after.

came yesterday happy happy :)

My mate needed a rear bulkhead panel for his splt screen crew cab. A scan of the panel suppliers showed that it wasnt available anywhere.
He rang Schofields and they said they'd make him one from scratch ... a couple of weeks on and it arrived yesterday.
I think were pretty lucky to have support like this from dealers in our scene. 8)
