Engine re-fitted, strange things happening!

Hi guys,

Got the engine back in after fitting a dress up kit, tinware painted, new clutch etc.

Wired it all up this morning, fired it up and it ran albeit a bit rough. Checked all connections, leads and went to start again, this time just turning over and not firing. Went for a third time now the horn is constantly on! WTF??!

Any ideas?? Cheers!

Did you replace the plugs? I've had brand new plugs be duff when I bought some last.... Also plug leads in right order from dizzy??

I've not touched the plugs and marked the leads when i replaced them. Will need a hand from a mate and check for spark, fuel etc but can't figure out why the horn has now came on. Strange!

I don't suppose you have one of uber's pedal locks fitted at the time do you ?

Jonboylaw, I do!! That's what it'll be. Must be earthing out due to that eh? I never thought of that. Take it you've had this problem too??
