Hi all in the process of brake disk conversion on a rust free beam. I’ve been told by many dropped spindles on a standard beam gives a nice ride so looking at buying those along with late bay disks. Can anyone answer the following?
With wide 5 stock wheels on adapter plates is there enough clearance?
Are standard shocks suitable?
Is a change of master cylinder required ( had drums before)
Any pictures most appriecated of finished look of standard beam set up with dropped spindles and adapter plates.
Post here or to [email protected]
Many thanks

Are they 14” wheels? If so, then I speak from experience that to make them fit you will need wheel spacers, and possibly grinding some of the metal off the arms where the track rods bolt on. Although I have been told that there is more than one style of 14” steel wheel which makes one easier to fit than the other. All I know is mine are 1968 and are a pain!
