I purchased one from Just Kampers, was collection only! Fitted well and a lot easer to see through than the scratched one! If I have not been in a rush I might have purchased a heated one, I don't know if the heater elements are visible but would be nice to see out properly in the winter.

I dunno if it helps but I phoned a local car windscreen company and to my surprise they ordered a new one & fitted it for £153, which I thought was a bargain and zero stress on my part!

In the dim distant past I had a new screen fitted by autoglass, must have been an insurance job. Anyway it took two of them to fit it, I now know that was because they needed to force it into place. I did not know any different, but my wipers no longer have full contact with the screen. Years later when I am replacing the screen again the chap who removed it said he was unsure what the screen was supposed to go in, but not your van!

Tip: Check your wipers have contact throughout the wipe before you sign off the replacement.

Yep the firm I went with do classic cars vans etc. and it took one elderly gentleman about 10 minutes to for it in his own. He did a cracking job it’s lined up perfectly. He said he’s fitted hundreds of them. I was worried as I’d welded in a new panel where the wipers are fitted but he gave me a pat on the back and said nice job 😆 no leaks and good wiper contact.
It’s a really odd feeling sitting in an old van with crystal clear glass!

Ade, don’t stress bud. Just about any screen fitting company can do this for you and it’s great having a laminated screen. I didn’t bother with heated or tinted although both are available, it’s great having a clear screen and you can wear polarised sun glasses too without seeing all those splodges in the glass . The guy that did mine said yes to a coffee and biscuits and he was wiping the glass off after fitting it before I got back and all by his self too.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, some jobs are best left to them pros :)

Keep in mind that there are restrictions in Germany, regarding tinted windscreens & side windows, plus wearing sun glasses (polarized and otherwise). Maximum permissible tint is 10% I believe!?!

Bought a heated windscreen (collection only) from Ricky Evans MotorSport near Tamworth https://www.heatedwindscreen.com/products/vw-t2-combi-van-clear-heated-windscreen
Just to confirm the heating elements are not visible in daylight, and fairly certain they're not at night either.
