Afternoon folks,

I've just drained my fuel tank in readiness for giving it the old POR15 treatment and I'm sat here now wondering what to do with the fuel. I've decanted it into some hydraulic oil drums so I figure it won't be much use now.

Any ideas? Do tips have disposal facilities?

Cheers

Ian

Lawnmower ..

2-stroke garden equip that will tolerate the small amout of oil..

Use it up one gallon at a time with each fill up..

deffo with the lawn mower, put petrol in my diesel  about five years ago, should have enough to cover next year and then all gone.8)

While I agree with the guys about using some for lawnmowers etc I'd be a bit cautious about having any quantity of fuel hanging around for too long - especially if you're grinding/welding etc. Contact your local tip - they'll probably take it if it's in a suitable container...

;)
