Ex Westy,
After a not so good weekend smashing my bus into a speed bump, I've realised that maybe a lowered bus isn't what I need right now, so I'm looking for inspiration for a cool stock height bus. Mine's a 71 semi deluxe, so sunroof but none if the fancy trim, and I'm using it for hauling my work to shows, so it will be sign written. Any pics of Cool stock height commercial inspired busses out there? I really don't want to raise it, but needs and budget seem to dictate that I will. :(

Mines stock height - Well the front is anyway, I put 195's on the back and raised it very slightly to lose some of that nose up stance.
Drives great and get me anywhere I want, comfortably.
As for cool, I like it, but still they look cooler slammed into the deck - just not practical

mine's stock, can't get photos up yet as on my mobile but it does suffer from 'reverse rake'

How about the chunky tyre look

Took me a while to work out what is 'odd' about your front end.

I was watching vans drive into stonor this year and was quite taken by how cool a stock height van looks when all loaded up. it loses the nose up stance and looks good dead level when driving. at least that's my excuse and im eating lots of cakes to help bring the front down!

Eventually got pics up :D
an old one...

newer one...

same van, same colour, looks different in every photo... :|

These nose up pics are all with no driver and passanger in it, which isnt realistic really. Depending on what you weigh it really lowers the front when you are in it. Ill try to post some driving pictures later.

Been seriously thinking of going lower.

I like this. I've been thinking along the lines of steels and whiteband tyres, along with some sign writing, and maybe a full length roof rack. The thing is I'm using it for my business, which means moving heavy metalwork about. I'm going to try some Gaz shocks, but I dont think thats going to help much
