wow great thread, given me some real inspiration to get on with mine, i love the work that sjh do too, spoke to them at busfreeze a few months ago. well done!!

Speechless and that's unusual for Potts !
Can't see anyone ever being able to equal the quality of this bus.
We all have our own personal wants/likes/inspirations but in every area this bus I believe surpasses all what we thought was possible for a earlybay.

You better have a big Ouse for the opines

Predictive type ffs
Ment to say
You better have a big house for those trophies

A gobsmacked Potts

Can't believe I've never seen seen this thread before. The workmanship is fantastic, I would be happy to anywhere close to that, beautiful bus.
How heavy is the dynomat? I thought it was quite weighty.

Yeah Mags, its quite heavy.

I used just over 2 boxes of the Extreme Bulk Packs (9 sheet of 18" x 32" per pack) each pack weighs just under 10Kg, so thats like carrying a small child around constantly :(

It really does work though.

With a bus of that standard you're going to need a fair sized trophy cabinet !

Congratulations on a tasty bus,

Thanks Mickey Sam, the work never stops....

Not doing all the shows, just want to get out & use it more, its had a few outings this year, but first camping trip this year is Camperjam.

Guess I will see you there :party0041:

i dont have enough superlatives to describe this bus. just awesome....

well done on the awards.

I saw this bus in the flesh today and all I can say is wow! The pictures are great but they can't compare to real life.

Thanks for taking the time out to show us all the nooks and crannies - my girlfriend now wants "everything in that red van" I'd best get saving!

You are welcome Irishpete, it was good to meet you & your girlfriend today, good luck with the search for the M501 kit.

Cheers

So a small update on what we have been doing recently.

The engine tinware was starting to look a little tired, so I removed the engine, took the tinware to the boys at MPW, I think it looks great.

I also shortened the tailpipe of the Vintage speed exhaust as I could not fit the over riders previously as they fouled the tailpipe.

I cut out a section about 100mm, the welded the last part back on, but turned it towards the floor, no more bumper staining for me.

It still sounds just as quiet !
