Main beam stuck on !!!

Not that it makes much difference like !!!!
But my headlights are stuck on main beam now, the stalk wont click them back off again!!!
I'm guessing strip it down blow it through with the airline & spray with WD40 ?????
Anyone else have this bother ???

Yes. It was the relay that had stuck

That sounds electronical or black magic as I call it !!!!

Swap the relay and see if it fixes it, just pull out, plug new one in

If not the mechanism is pretty easy to strip down, I cleaned mine in gunwash with a toothbrush, being careful around the springs. That free'd up the springs quite a bit. Resolder any dodgy connections when yer on, it isn't hard.

I'll try stripping n cleaning the switch first , if that doesn't work,,,

my relay was full of water when it did this!!
I think the screen seal is leaking very slightly...

Hi going slightly of the subject a bit, but took indicator relay out when they weren't working, full of water. Bought new one fitted everything o.k. Decide to take old relay apart dried it sprayed with wd 40 and drilled a small hole in bottom of plastic casing to let out further ingress of water, worked a treat so now have a spare.

It's fixed !!!
No idea how I did it, but it is !!!
So I'd call that a victory!!!
