I am off to see Stuart and Drew tomorrow. Got a meeting in bristol so thought seeing as I was only 2 hours away I would pop in and drop of some glass and some quarter lights.

Cannot wait to see poppy again and catch up with the guys, who knows I may even drop some money off to them :)

Looking sweet J. I'm very sorry it turned out to be such a mess. I know Poppy will be a good bus after seeing what these guys are doing with her.

Thanks Conrad, no worries, until it was stripped I don't think anyone knew. My local specialist didm;t realise ho abad it was. But I tell you what I have seen her today and she looks amazing. :)

I went to see Drew and Stuart today to see poppy. I have a load of pictures but I am running out of time so I will post them up sunday night.

Needless to say I spent 3 hours with them looking at my bus and chatting.

My face HURTS from smiling so much. I tried to play it all cool when I arrived and looked at another bus they are working on but I lasted about 2 minutes before I said I needed to see poppy. OMG seriously she is so straight, so perfect. So amazing.

I want to have their babies. I am in love with my bus all over again. Looking at the lines in the roof. Holy crap the pictures I posted do not do it justice.

The long panel. It is so straight and true. I defy anyone to tell me they have a straighter bus.

If you are thinking about getting your bus restored. There are people out there that can do it quicker, cheaper, dearer etc. But tract me if you want a top job, carried out by enthusiastic people look no further than midland paintwerks. when I was looking around to get poppy done I spoke to a lot of people. some cheaper, some dearer. But I knew after speaking to Stuart I wanted them to do the work. I had looked at a lot of buses before shortlisting. From the first time I spoke to Stuart I knew they had passion in what they did.

So to the point. Has it been worth it? Its taken a lot longer than planned as pretty much every panel on poppy has been damaged. I hadn't taken into account any repairs to accident damage so the final bill has been significantly higher than planned.

Without hesitation. YES. YES. YES.

I know that feeling, mine still looks great after 3 years after picking it up from MPW & being used all year round !

I saw it a couple of weeks ago when I called in for a coffee, looks really straight & clean now !

Bet you cannot wait :)

Time for an open day Stuart & Drew, line up the work you have done so far, that will be a stunning line up I think

Great news MarriedBlonde.

I am so glad you are happy, can't wait to see the pictures!!!
I believe my 68 Westy is in their workshop soon after yours and am so excited about Drew and Stu working their magic.

Firstly thanks everyone for all the positive comments. I have been away with limited internet access down in deepest darkest devon so any posts I made took forever...

I am guessing you are all getting bored of my pics so I won't post the ones I took when I was at midlands and just post a few of the finished painted body.

And yes I am very very very happy.

to mask my bus up took 6 hours...

Stuart and Drew worked Saturday to get my bus painted. This is 4 hours worth or work and 4 coats.
