this is for model 70 and after

I know they are not the right ones for the year, but Im happy with them, My bus my rules.

Its a lovely bus but isnt an H plate a 70 model year anyway so technically the trim is correct??

Regardless deluxe trim is the nuts :mrgreen:

When I purchased Myvanway, it was advertised as a 1969 Westfalia.
I was however aware the plate related to 1970.
Going through the history/paperwork its almost all there 8) Im sure its 1969?!

I might see if I can track down Ted Hunter as he owned it for most of its life! 8)

2302078622 is a 1970 model year chassis number, what's the M plate details? The group of digits at the bottom left will tell you the planned production date.

1970 model year buses were manufactured from 1st August 1969 to 31st July 1970. VW model years ran like this as they would start a new model year after the annual shut down/holiday.
